(98) Know that Allah is severe in penalty and that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
(54) And when those come to you who believe in Our verses, say, "Peace be upon you. Your Lord has decreed upon Himself mercy: that any of you who does wrong out of ignorance and then repents after that and corrects himself - indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful.
(104) Do they not know that it is Allah who accepts repentance from His servants and receives charities and that it is Allah who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful?
(11) And if Allah was to hasten for the people the evil [they invoke] as He hastens for them the good, their term would have been ended for them. But We leave the ones who do not expect the meeting with Us, in their transgression, wandering blindly.
(6) They impatiently urge you to bring about evil before good, while there has already occurred before them similar punishments [to what they demand]. And indeed, your Lord is full of forgiveness for the people despite their wrongdoing, and indeed, your Lord is severe in penalty.
(7) And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, "If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe." "
(49) [O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful. (50) And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment.
(19) Allah is Subtle with His servants; He gives provisions to whom He wills. And He is the Powerful, the Exalted in Might.
(25) And it is He who accepts repentance from his servants and pardons misdeeds, and He knows what you do. (26) And He answers [the supplication of] those who have believed and done righteous deeds and increases [for] them from His bounty. But the disbelievers will have a severe punishment.

(12) Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe.
(25) So on that Day, none will punish [as severely] as His punishment. (26) And none will bind [as severely] as His binding [of the evildoers].
When Allah completed the creation, he wrote a script and it's there with him above the throne that: My mercy precedes my wrath.
The Paradise and Hell argued, and Hell said: I was favored by taking in the arrogants and tyrants. And Paradise said: What is it with me? Only the weak, the humble, and the naive among people enter me. So Allah said to Paradise: You are just My mercy which I bestow upon whoever I wish of My servants. And he said to Hell: You are just My torment by which I punish whoever I wish of My servants. And each of you will have its own fill. As for Hell, it will not be filled. Until Allah places his foot in it and it says: Never, never. Then there it will be filled and its parts will be close to each other, and Allah will not wrong any of his creation. As for Paradise, Allah will create a new creation to fill it.
