(95) Then We exchanged in place of the bad [condition], good, until they increased [and prospered] and said, "Our fathers [also] were touched with hardship and ease." So We seized them suddenly while they did not perceive.

(42) And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror].

(129) And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, punishment would have been an obligation [due immediately], and [if not for] a specified term [decreed].

(48) And for how many a city did I prolong enjoyment while it was committing wrong. Then I seized it, and to Me is the [final] destination.

(55) Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children. (56) Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive.

(57) Never think that the disbelievers are causing failure [to Allah] upon the earth. Their refuge will be the Fire - and how wretched the destination.

(4) Indeed, for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made pleasing to them their deeds, so they wander blindly.

(66) So that they will deny what We have granted them, and they will enjoy themselves. But they are going to know.

(24) We grant them enjoyment for a little; then We will force them to a massive punishment.

(44) So leave Me, [O Muhammad], with [the matter of] whoever denies the Qur"an. We will progressively lead them [to punishment] from where they do not know. (45) And I will give them time. Indeed, My plan is firm.
