Verily, truthfulness is righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. A slave ascertains the truth until he is recorded with Allah as truthful. And verily, falsehood is wickedness, and wickedness leads to Hellfire. A slave continues to tell lies until he is recorded [with Allah] as a liar.

Whoever does not abstain from false statements, actions in accordance with it, and acting benightedly, Allah has no need for him to abandon his food and drink.
