When the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) died and the revenue of Bahrain came in, Abu Bakr said: Whoever has a promise from the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), let him come to me. So I went to him and said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) had said to me: When the revenue of Bahrain comes in, I would give you this, this, and this. He said to me: Take a handful. So I took a handful. He said to me: Count it. So I counted it and it was five hundred. Then he gave me one thousand five hundred.
