A man came to the Prophet (PBUH) and said that he was burned -doomed, so the Prophet (PBUH) asked him what was wrong with him. The man said that he had an intercourse with his wife while fasting in Ramadan. Then, a maktal (a wicker basket with a capacity of 15 sa's) called "'araq" full of dates was brought to him in which there were dates. He said: Where is the burned one? The man got up, so the Prophet (PBUH) told him: Give this in charity (as an expiation).
