The best among you are the ones who learn Qur'an and teach it.

While Usayd ibn Hudayr was reciting Qur'an in his yard one night, his mare started to walk around. Then he recited, so it hopped again. Then he recited, so it also walked. Then Usayd said: I was afraid that she would step on Yahya -meaning his son. So I went to him and lo I saw something like a canopy above my head, with something like lamps in it. It rose in the air until I could not see it. Usayd said: So I went to the Messenger of Allah in the morning and I said: O Messenger of Allah, while I was reading in my yard yesterday in the middle of the night, my mare walked around. The Messenger of Allah replied: Read Ibn Hudair. Usayd continued: Then I recited, so she walked around again, and the Messenger of Allah said: Read Ibn Hudair. Usayd continued: Then I recited, so she also walked around. The Messenger of Allah said: Read Ibn Hudair. Usayd continued: Then I left as Yahya was close to her, so I was afraid that she would step on him. Then, I saw something like a canopy with the likes of lamps in it. It rose in the air until I could not see it. Then the Messenger of Allah said: Those were angels listening to you, and if you had continued reciting, people would have seen them (angels) in the morning, and they would not have concealed themselves from them.
