The Prophet (PBUH) performed i'tikaf (ritual seclusion) and addressed the people, he said: When one of you stands for prayer, he is in a private converse with his Lord. So let each one of you know what he is conversing with his Lord, and do not recite loudly over one another during prayer.
You see me facing the Qiblah! But by Allah, neither your reverence nor your bowing is hidden from me. I see you behind my back.
