Whoever says: Subhan-Allahi wa bi-hamdih (Glory be to Allah and praise is due to him) one hundred times a day, his sins will be forgiven, even if they are as much as the sea foam.
Cannot you earn a thousand good deeds every day? A man from among his companions said: How can one of us earn a thousand good deeds? He replied: By saying tasbeeh (glorifying Allah) one hundred times, a thousand good deeds will be recorded for him, or a thousand sins will be removed from him.
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) passed by Juweiriyah early while she at her place of prayer engaging in remembrance of Allah. Then, later at midday, he passed by her, so he said: Are you still as I left you? She replied: Yes. He said: Shall I not teach you words that are equivalent [to your remembrance of Allah], and if they were to be weighed [against your remembrance of Allah], they would have outweigh it?! Subhan-Allahi 'adada khalqih [thrice]. Subhan-Allahi ridha nafsih [thrice]. Subhan-Allahi zinata 'arshih [thrice]. Subhan-Allahi midada kalimatih [thrice]. (Glory be to Allah, as many times as the number of his creation [thrice]. Glory be to Allah, as much as pleases him [thrice]. Glory be to Allah, as much as the weight of his throne [thrice]. Glory be to Allah, as much as the ink of his words [thrice]. Narrator added: And her name was Barrah, so the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) called her Juweiriyah.
A man came and joined the row [in a prayer], while he was out of breath. He said: Praise is due to Allah. Abundant, good and blessed praise. When the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) finished the prayer, he said: Who among you spoke those words? The people remained silent. He asked again: Who among you spoke them? He said nothing but good. The man replied: I came while I was out of breath, so I said them. The Prophet (PBUH) said: I saw twelve angels rushing one another to be the one to raise it [to Allah].
