(48) Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.
(116) Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray.
(2) [Through a messenger, saying], "Do not worship except Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a warner and a bringer of good tidings,"
(22) Do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity and [thereby] become censured and forsaken.
(39) That is from what your Lord has revealed to you, [O Muhammad], of wisdom. And, [O mankind], do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity, lest you be thrown into Hell, blamed and banished.
(88) And do not invoke with Allah another deity. There is no deity except Him. Everything will be destroyed except His Face. His is the judgement, and to Him you will be returned.
(18) And [He revealed] that the masjids are for Allah, so do not invoke with Allah anyone.
The Messenger of Allah led us in the Fajr prayer at Al-Hudaybiyyah after a rainfall durning night. When he had finished, he approached the people and said: Do you know what your Lord said? People replied: Allah and his Messenger know best. He said: Some of My servants started their morning believing in Me and others disbelieving. As for whoever says: We have been rained by the grace and mercy of Allah; That is a believer in Me and a disbeliever in the planet, and he who says: We have been rained by such-and-such storms. He is a disbeliever in Me and a believer in the planet.
I asked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH): Which sin is the greatest? He said: To make a rival to Allah, though he created you. I said: Then what? He said: Then to kill your son for fear that he will eat your food. I said: Then what? He said: To commit adultery with your neighbor’s wife.
