The vision is from Allah and the dream is from Satan. So if one of you sees something he dislikes, let him spit dryly to his left three times and seek refuge in Allah from its evil, and it will not harm him.

If one of you sees a vision that he likes, then it is from Allah. Let him praise Allah for it and talk about it. But if he sees something else that he dislikes, then it is from Satan. Let him seek refuge in Allah from its evil and not mention it to anyone, and it will not harm him.
