(180) And let not those who [greedily] withhold what Allah has given them of His bounty ever think that it is better for them. Rather, it is worse for them. Their necks will be encircled by what they withheld on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted.
(37) Who are stingy and enjoin upon [other] people stinginess and conceal what Allah has given them of His bounty - and We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment.
(26) And give the relative his right, and [also] the poor and the traveler, and do not spend wastefully. (27) Indeed, the wasteful are brothers of the devils, and ever has Satan been to his Lord ungrateful.
(29) And do not make your hand [as] chained to your neck or extend it completely and [thereby] become blamed and insolvent.
Beware of committing injustice, for injustice is darkness before Allah on the Day of Resurrection. Beware of obscenity, for Allah does not like obscenity and indecency. Beware of niggardliness, for it tempted those before you to make lawful what was unlawful to them, shed their blood, and severe their kinship ties.
