(11) For each one are successive [angels] before and behind him who protect him by the decree of Allah. Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron.
(17) When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left. (18) Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record].
(9) No! But you deny the Recompense. (10) And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers. (11) Noble and recording;. (12) They know whatever you do.
The angels take turns -guarding- you, by night and day. They meet at Fajr and Asr prayers. So, those who spent the night among you ascend to Allah and he asks them, although he knows best about them: How did you leave My servants? They say: We left them while they were praying and came to them while they were praying.
