(98) So when you recite the Qur"an, [first] seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the expelled [from His mercy].
A man came to Ibn Masoud and said: I recited the entire Mofassal in one rak’ah. Abdullah said: This is like hasty narration of poetry. I know the suras that are similar in length that the Messenger of Allah used to combine. Then he mentioned twenty suras from Al-Mufassal, two suras in each rak’ah.
