A previously married woman has more right to herself than her guardian [with regard to marriage decisions], and a virgin's permission [consent for marriage] must be sought, and her permission is her silence.

Her father married her off without her consent and she had been previously married. So she went to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) and he annulled the marriage.
