Whoever disobeys and separates from the [Muslim] community and dies, it would be as if he died in the Pre-lslamic period of ignorance. Whoever fights under a blind [arbitrary] banner, gets angry for a group, proselytizing a group, or championing a group, and is killed, it would be as if he was killed in the Pre-lslamic period of ignorance. Whoever rebels against my nation, assaulting its righteous and wicked, not avoiding its believers, and not upholding his covenant with a covenanted person; does not belong to me, and I do not belong to him.

Whoever takes up arms against us is not one of us.

If two Muslims take up arms against each other, they will both be on the brink of Hell. If one of them kills the other, they will both enter it.

Insulting/cursing a Muslim is wickedness/disobedience and fighting him is disbelief.
