We hosted The Prophet (PBUH) in our house. He stayed on the ground floor, and I stayed on the upper floor. Some water was spilled on the upper floor, so I and Um Ayyoub got up with a piece of cloth to wipe the water, fearing that the water would leak to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). Then I went down to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), and I was worried and said, O Messenger of Allah, it is not appropriate for us to be above you. Move to the upper floor. The Prophet (PBUH) ordered his belongings to be moved, and they were few. I said, O Messenger of Allah, you used to send me food [after eating], and I would look and put my fingers where I find the traces of your fingers. This time when you sent me the food that, I looked at it and did not see the traces of your fingers. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: Yes, there was onion in it, and I hated to eat it because of the angel who would come to me. As for you, eat it.

I said to the Prophet (PBUH) while we were in the cave: If one of them were to look down at his feet, he would surely see us at his feet. The Prophet (PBUH) replied: O Abu Bakr, what do you think of two, of whom Allah is the third?
