There are angels guarding the entrances of Medina. Neither plague nor Ad-Dajjal (antichrist) will enter it.

There will be no town which Ad-Dajjal (Antichrist) will not enter except Medina and Mecca. On every passage leading to Medina, angels will be standing in rows guarding it. He will come to a barren/marshy land, then Medina will shake thrice, so every hypocrite and disbeliever will be expelled out of it.
