I asked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH): Which deed is most beloved to Allah? He replied: Praying on time. Narrator asked: Then what? He replied: Then honoring/being dutiful to one’s parents. Narrator asked: Then what? He replied: Then Jihad for the cause of Allah.

O Abu Ztharr, pray on time, then if you find people who have prayed, you will have established your prayer, and if they have not prayed, pray with them and it will be a supererogatory prayer for you.
