Come closer, my son, mention Allah's name, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is in front of you.

My father sent me to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) to invite him to a meal, and he came with me. When I approached the house, I hurried and informed my parents, so they went out and met the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) and welcomed him. We placed a piece of velvet for him, which we had, and he sat on it. Then my father said to my mother: Bring your food. She brought a bowl containing flour that I had prepared with water and salt, so I placed it in front of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). He said: Take in the name of Allah from around it and leave the top of it, for the blessing is in it. So the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) ate and we ate with him, and there was leftover. Then the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: O Allah, forgive them, have mercy on them, bless them, and expand their provision.
