The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) woud fast until we thought that he would not break his fast, and he would go without fasting until we thought that he would not fast, and I never saw the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) fasting for a whole month except Ramadan, and I never saw him fasting in any month more than he did in Sha'ban.
