(72) Indeed, those who have believed and emigrated and fought with their wealth and lives in the cause of Allah and those who gave shelter and aided - they are allies of one another. But those who believed and did not emigrate - for you there is no guardianship of them until they emigrate. And if they seek help of you for the religion, then you must help, except against a people between yourselves and whom is a treaty. And Allah is Seeing of what you do.

When we arrived to Medina, the Messenger of Allah established a bond of brotherhood between me and Sa'd ibn Al-Rabi'. Sa'd ibn Al-Rabi' said: I am the wealthiest among the Ansar, so I will allocate half of my wealth to you. Also, see which of my wives you like, I will give [divorce] her to you, and when she becomes lawful [after waiting period], marry her. 'Abd-Ur-Rahman said: I have no need of that. Is there a marketplace where there is trading? Sa'd said: The market of Qeinuqa'. 'Abd-Ur-Rahman went to it next morning and brought some ghee and curd. Then he continued to go every morning. Then, it was not long before 'Abd-Ur-Rahman came back, and with traces of yellowness on him. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) asked: Have you married? 'Abd-Ur-Rahman replied: Yes. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) asked: And whom have you married? He replied: A woman from the Ansar? He asked: How much did you pay her? He said: The weight of a date seed of gold or a date seed of gold (5 dirhams). The Prophet (PBUH) said to him: Give a wedding feast, even if it is with a sheep.
