(96) And We did certainly send Moses with Our signs and a clear authority. (97) To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they followed the command of Pharaoh, and the command of Pharaoh was not [at all] discerning. (98) He will precede his people on the Day of Resurrection and lead them into the Fire; and wretched is the place to which they are led. (99) And they were followed in this [world] with a curse and on the Day of Resurrection. And wretched is the gift which is given.
(51) And mention in the Book, Moses. Indeed, he was chosen, and he was a messenger and a prophet. (52) And We called him from the side of the mount at [his] right and brought him near, confiding [to him]. (53) And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet.
(48) And We had already given Moses and Aaron the criterion and a light and a reminder for the righteous. (49) Who fear their Lord unseen, while they are of the Hour apprehensive.
(114) And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. (115) And We saved them and their people from the great affliction. (116) And We supported them so it was they who overcame. (117) And We gave them the explicit Scripture. (118) And We guided them on the straight path. (119) And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: (120) "Peace upon Moses and Aaron. (121) Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. (122) Indeed, they were of Our believing servants.
(53) And We had certainly given Moses guidance, and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit the Scripture. (54) As guidance and a reminder for those of understanding.
The Angel of Death came to Moses and said to him: Answer your Lord. Ao Moses hit the Angel of Death in the eye and put it out. The angel returned to Allah and said: You sent me to a slave of yours who did not want to die, and he put out my eye. Allah restored his eye and said: Go back to my slave and tell him: Do you want life? If you do want life, then place your hand on the back of an ox, and whatever hair your hand covers, and for each of it you will live for a year. Moses exclaimed: Then what? The Angel of Seath replied: Then you will die. Moses said: Then now, the sooner. My Lord, bring me closer to the Holy Land, a stone’s throw away. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: If I were there, I would show you his grave on the side of the road, near the red sand dune.
