(145) And it is not [possible] for one to die except by permission of Allah at a decree determined. And whoever desires the reward of this world - We will give him thereof; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter - We will give him thereof. And we will reward the grateful.
(34) And for every nation is a [specified] term. So when their time has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it].
(31) And if there was any qur"an by which the mountains would be removed or the earth would be broken apart or the dead would be made to speak, [it would be this Qur"an], but to Allah belongs the affair entirely. Then have those who believed not accepted that had Allah willed, He would have guided the people, all of them? And those who disbelieve do not cease to be struck, for what they have done, by calamity - or it will descend near their home - until there comes the promise of Allah. Indeed, Allah does not fail in [His] promise.
(4) And We did not destroy any city but that for it was a known decree. (5) No nation will precede its term, nor will they remain thereafter.
(61) And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for their wrongdoing, He would not have left upon the earth any creature, but He defers them for a specified term. And when their term has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it].
(30) Indeed, your Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. Indeed He is ever, concerning His servants, Acquainted and Seeing.
(58) And there is no city but that We will destroy it before the Day of Resurrection or punish it with a severe punishment. That has ever been in the Register inscribed.
(34) And We did not grant to any man before you eternity [on earth]; so if you die - would they be eternal? (35) Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned.
(105) And We have already written in the book [of Psalms] after the [previous] mention that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants.
(60) And how many a creature carries not its [own] provision. Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
(62) Allah extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts for him. Indeed Allah is, of all things, Knowing.
(37) Do they not see that Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed, in that are signs for a people who believe.
(36) Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it], but most of the people do not know.
(45) And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon the earth any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allah has ever been, of His servants, Seeing.
(52) Do they not know that Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.
(4) On that night is made distinct every precise matter. (5) [Every] matter [proceeding] from Us. Indeed, We were to send [a messenger]. (6) As mercy from your Lord. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
(22) And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised.
(22) No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being - indeed that, for Allah, is easy. (23) In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.
(11) But never will Allah delay a soul when its time has come. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.
Allah has assigned an angel to the womb, so the angel says: O Lord, it is a semen drop. O Lord, it is a clinging clot. O Lord, it is a lump of flesh. So if Allah wants to complete its creation, the angel asks: O Lord is it a male or a female? miserable or happy? So what is the life term? So it is written like this in his mother’s womb.
Someone asked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH): O Messenger of Allah, is it already known who the people of Paradise and who the people of Hell are? He replied: Yes. Then the man asked: So, why should we do anything? He said: Everyone is provided with the facilities required for achieving (attaining to) what he is created for.
And I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) say: Allah created his creation in darkness and then cast some of his light on them on that day. Whoever was touched by his light on that day will be guided, and whoever misses it will go astray.
Adam and Moses argued. Moses said to Adam: You are Adam who seduced people and brought them out of Paradise to Earth. Adam: You are Moses, whom Allah gave knowledge of everything to and chosen over the people with his message. Moses replied: Yes. Adam said: Do you blame me for something that I was distined to do before I was created? So, Adam confuted Moses.
